Sales does not sit apart from delivery, finance, hiring, or the customer experience. We look at the connections that shape performance.
About the Collective
Story & Stone Collective LLC is the umbrella for work grounded in judgment, useful structure, and respect for the complexity of a growing business. Story & Stone Advisory is its executive sales leadership division.
01/ The experience behind the work
20+ Years
Building and leading sales organizations
Over more than two decades, the work has moved through building and leading teams, strategic and national account growth, multi-market leadership, and the operating details that help a sales organization become more accountable and more useful to the business around it.
That experience is practical by design. It includes the hard conversations, the imperfect CRM, the missed forecast, the new market, the acquisition integration, and the leadership transition. It is built for moments when an organization needs someone senior enough to see the full picture and close enough to the work to help change it.
02/ Founder profile
Story & Stone Advisory is led by Lisa McCollough, a senior sales executive with more than 20 years of experience building teams, developing strategic and national accounts, and leading growth across complex, multi-market service businesses.
Lisa's approach is hands-on and operational. She works directly with leadership and sales teams to strengthen pipeline discipline, forecasting, CRM adoption, accountability, talent, and strategic account execution.
Her experience spans relationship-driven B2B environments where sales performance depends on strong leadership, close alignment with operations, and the ability to turn strategy into consistent execution.
Florida-based and available nationally, Lisa works with PE-backed, founder-led, and growth-stage companies that need experienced VP-level sales leadership during periods of growth, transition, or leadership change.

03/ Values
01
Sales does not sit apart from delivery, finance, hiring, or the customer experience. We look at the connections that shape performance.
02
Good leadership makes priorities visible. We name what is true, choose what matters now, and build an operating rhythm around it.
03
Plans only matter when people can use them. We lead with the team, in the pipeline, in the CRM, and in the conversations that move accounts forward.
